Get the Doorline app

Doorline is a phone app — that’s where you knock doors. It’s free, and it’s the same app for canvassers, team leads, and admins.

If a link doesn’t open, search for Doorline in your phone’s app store.

You need an account from your campaign

There is no sign-up. Doorline accounts are created by your campaign’s admin or team lead, not by you — so installing the app is only half of it. If you haven’t been added yet, ask whoever runs your canvass to add you; you’ll get an email with a link to set your password.

Once you have that account, sign in with the same email and password you set on the web. There’s no separate app account to create, so don’t sign up for a new one — if you do, it won’t have your campaigns in it.

Already have an account?

1. Install the app using a badge above, or by searching for Doorline in your store.
2. Sign in with your email and password. If your admin gave you a temporary password, the app asks you to set your own on that first sign-in.
3. Allow location when the app asks, and on iPhone leave Precise Location on. Every door you record carries a GPS stamp — that’s how your work is verified — so the app can’t record doors without it. You can canvass with no signal, but not with location off.

The web console is for admins and team leads

If you’re a canvasser, everything you need is in the app — there’s nothing for you to do on the website. Admins and team leads use the web console to import a voter file, cut turf, assign books, and watch results land. They can sign in here.
